"Hecate" is a project comprised of short animations inspired by imagery that teeters on the boundary between wakefulness and sleep. With this film I wanted to capture the heavy, wool in mouth sensation of getting up to get a glass of water in the middle of the night while still under the spell of the dreams.

The film screened at an animation showcase at Silent Barn in 2016 and at Moving Pictures Animation Exhibition at Los Angeles Mission College in 2022.
